Her journey has not only covered a lot of miles but a lot of healing.  She has a passion for helping people find their way, learn to thrive, and fulfill their destiny.  She is uniquely qualified to help others find the inner healing, wellbeing, and purpose she has found.

Now she works at home as an editor, writer, and speaker.  In addition to Fat Old White Lady, she is working to finish her primer, The Art of Thriving:  12 life skills for living well, and a couple of other books.

She and her husband LeRoy are a team.  They are each other’s best friends and confidants.  He is her biggest fan.

France Marcott

France  has worn many hats over the years: actor in a traveling professional theatre company, wife and stepmom of 3, administrator, teacher, pastor, life coach, writer, developmental editor, and speaker.


Her adventures have taken her to such diverse and interesting places as big-city Chicago IL, booming desert oasis Las Vegas NV, the hospitable southern town of Cleveland TN, bizarre Berkeley CA, tiny fishing village Cordova in an Alaskan rain forest, and wild-west Billings MT; she now resides in wide-open WY.

She has a B.A.from the University of Wyoming: Distributive Major in English, Theater, Communication, with a Minor in Music , and a M. Div. from American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley, CA.  She was ordained with the American Baptist Church, USA, in 2007.  In addition, she has completed courses in life coaching from Light University Online.
